Axle/Gears: 3.73:1

going from CCC to non-CCC

Hey guys,

I'm not sure my computer is working or hooked up properly(previous owner did a hell of a hack job on the wiring and the carb is FUBAR at the moment) so I was wondering if I changed the carb out from the E4ME to an M4ME and changed out the disty to one with a vacuum controlled advance would I be able to pass emissions in Arizona? Thanks guys.

If they only do a sniffer, and you also make the EGR valve non-CC, it may pass. You'd better have a fresh tune-up, fresh oil change, and really good cat.

If they do a visual inspection that verifies factory equipment or certified replacements, you'll fail.

This may not be much help but why not find a working ECM and lay out the schematics and get it running right? As it is right now I am repairing on my car what you're about to reverse engineer on yours and let me tell you its a frigging nightmare sourcing out all the right parts for a decent price because the previous owner THOUGHT he was a mechanic. Just my $0.02..
