need to install tps button
hi i just put in tps sensor in my 86 camaro 4bbl car and when i tried to put the metal button back in i could'nt so now i looked at it and i was wondering if i can take off the pump leveler and drop the button in thru the hole but i dont know how to take out that little screw that is blocking i guess the spring that moves the leveler up and down. what tool do i use to get that little screw out?? thanks

Re: need to install tps button
It's not a screw, it's pressed in. And I wouldn't mess with it.
Take the airhorn back off, insert the TPS "dowel" back in from the underside with a bit of heavy grease on it to hold it up temporarily so it doesn't fall back out again the instant you turn the casting back over to reinstall it. That's how I've done it for years.
