Engine: L69 Small-Block, 305
Transmission: Borg-Warner T5
Axle/Gears: 3.73
How do i adjust air fuel ratio on carb
I have a 1985 iroc 305 H.o... I was wondering how i could change the air fuel ratio on the carb . Because it seems to be. That when i rev the car up and then let go.. It starts to drop in rpms untill it hits zero and then the car shuts off

Also check for a loose idle stop cam or linkage also your idle boost solenoid.
You may just have a vaccum hose leak which also effects idle speed.
The idle mix adjustment screws are "sealed" in the stock Q-jet.

This is one of those rare cases where it would be best to determine the cause of the problem before you start to fix it.
