AH metering rods and G hangers?
I just got a "Camaro Performance Handbook" by David Shelby and it tells me that to increase the stock quadrajet's performance, G hangers and AH metering rods should do the trick. Now I'm guessing that neither of these will help my stock LG4, but since they are so cheap (and I have some upgrades to my LG4 coming soon) I'm considering ordering them and putting them on one day. Are these really the best parts for my non-CCC LG4? Any other ideas/parts?
PS - I'm comfortable replacing anything in the carb, just finished tearing one down and putting it back together.

"Best"? Can't really say without getting wideband O2 data with various combos. Most likely, though, they will help, even a stock 305.
DR rods are what most recommend, the hanger if a fine tuning item.
