holley carb

ok so i have an all stock 1984 Z28. i bought a brand new holley carb to replace the gummed up stock rochester carb. problem is the new holley doesnt have the electronic hook ups for the choke lights inside the car so it stays on and there is a horrible buzzing noise. Any idea if there is a plug for these wires to counteract the warning light plugs ?

Re: holley carb

Lots of problems here. You can't just replace the old computer controlled carb with a Holley. You need to replace the distributor too. And you probably want a choke (you need to go manual choke or an electric conversion on the Holley. You need a different air cleaner. If it is an automatic, you need the correct geometry bracket or the overdrive transmission wont work quite right. Do a search on this site...plenty f people have been through this.
