throttle return spring

can anyone tell me how to set this up? i just did a v6-v8 swap and am finishing up a few small things on the motor before its ready to rock and roll and i cant figure out where my return spring goes. iv got an eldebrock preformer 2116 intake, eldebrock kickdown bracket, carter 4b carb on my vortec motor. help?

No place on the throttle cable bracket? Usually a small hole somewhere on it to loop the spring in.

Can always fab a quick simple one out of a piece of flat metal. Bend into an "L" shape, drill one end to put under a bolt in the intake, drill small hole in other end for spring, pull spring to throttle.

I just hooked it to my valve cover lip till I can make a bracket

oriellys and autozone both sell universal/adjustable throttle cable brackets that have a hook loop on them for the return spring.
