It doesn't take anything fancy.

I would NOT get anything Mr. Gasket, though. Cheap, cheap, cheap stuff. Which leads to the next problem, dangerous. I was desperate and got one a few years ago when I couldn't get anything else, just about caught the car on fire. Replaced it with a Spectre and didn't have any problems with it.

Summit brand, okay. Spectre, probably no problem. Holley, good stuff. Mr. Gasket, avoid.

If you want it to be real nice, you can use braided line and AN fittings. They make the feed line setups in braided also.

Re: Which carb feed lines?

since my carb is a ultra series double pumper would that take a different type or feed line or would any of those in the link above fit it? and which one would be better the -8AN or -6AN ?

Re: Which carb feed lines?

Your supply line is 3/8" which equals to a -6AN. No sense in spending more on -8 stuff when there is no benefit in it. As far as Spectra stuff, I've seen both good and bad from them. Most of my braided hose stuff is from Aeroquip and the carb connection I got whole from Summit.

Easy way to remember the "dash" to pipe size is this--> "dash#"/16 = -6/16 or 3/8"
