adjustable fuel pressure regulator ??
Hi!
I guess this is thought for TPI Models only ?
https://www.thirdgen.org/optimal-fuel-pressure
is there something like this I can also do to my L69 / cc-quadrajet ?
I already have running a stronger mechanical fuel pump on my block
As I today get a dremel to widen and polish my quadrajet inlets, I thought this might be a good idea too.
Would be great if someone can tell me more about the fuel pressure thing.
Thanks !

The purpose of fuel pressure with a carb is to fill the fuel bowl with fuel, then the flow is cut off. Unlike injection, fuel pressure has ZERO effect on power (unless you have too much pressure, which will overwhelm the float needle/seat and flood the carb, which will then REDUCE power).
Probably not. The smallest passageway in the system is the float needle/seat. There is a .149" needle/seat assembly you can get, but that's all the float can handle.

Re: adjustable fuel pressure regulator ??
Thank you very much!
I came to this idea, because I read:
http://www.circletrack.com/enginetec...s/viewall.html
and
http://home.earthlink.net/~quadrajet...ow_ratings.htm
(Middle of the site - valve shaft 80/85* mod)
and
read somewhere else to ger better low end acceleration by
Extending the way of the acc pump by shorting the connector piece on the right side of the carb, so more fuel is already set free in the beginning
Do you think this will be a big bang of difference on a L69 with performer intake 2101, mild/good cam, 1 5/8" headers to 3" exhaust
..must be noticeable I guess?
Or still a bad Idea? I think you know it better than I do
