Rochester Carb top Module Help

Hi all, I came across a 86 T/A i picked up and it has a Rochester carb that has the top plug in it that has 2 wires a blue one and a black one, the blue one is just cut off 4 inches from the plug in and the black wire was ran across the drivers side to the firewall but cut off and cant find the other end where the black wire was cut off so I was wondering if anyone knew where these 2 wires were supposed to properly go. and more less what is the function of this module? my 87 formula never had a module on the top so that's why im kinda stumped where these should be hooked up.
thanks for any input

Two connectors on top of the carb. On the drivers side, you have the throttle position sensor. On the passenger side you have the MCS, Mixture Control Solenoid. The carb WILL NOT run correctly with either of these missing. On my 84, both go to the wire harness and get lost but eventually go to the ECM either way. If you find the wire harness that comes forward around the carb you should be able to locate the cut wires in it.
