Weird Engine start problem..

Engine: 5.0 L (Carbed)
Transmission: 5-Speed
Axle/Gears: Lazy 2 check
Weird Engine start problem..
Alright so Ive installed a edelbrock 1406 and on a cold start it starts right up with no problems I will start to drive it and when I let it sit for about over 15 min it struggles to turn on...like I gotta keep turning the engine over until it finally starts . Even when the engine is warm and I let it sit for those 15 min or more the same problem happens...IDK what it can be. ?

what else have you done recently to engine?, had a similar problem w/sbc 350 after installing headers, needed a mini starter to get rolling, a few months ago, my 84 Z28 did same on sbc 305, changed out ignition coil, cap, rotor & it's been good to go since

The Edelbrock I had years ago did the same thing. Fuel was flowing over and flooding cylinders 7 and 8. I exchanged for a Holley and that solved the problem.
