Thermoquad on a Chevy 454?
Thermoquad on a Chevy 454?
I'm having problems with my Edelbrock 1407 and my Quadrajet 17058213 so I found a brand new Thermoquad 9265-s on Craigslist and I bought it right away. I had one years ago on a 1977 Dodge 440 and it ran great. I soon realized that I've never heard of anybody bolting a TQ on a Chevy spreadbore manifold, yes the TQ is a spreadbore carburetor but it has 8 vacuum ports, the EB has 3 and the QJ has 4 so you can see that I'm a bit confused plus I can't find any port identification info online! "FRUSTRATED"! Can somebody help me figure out how to install this TQ on my mid 70's Chevy 454?

Were there any differences in linkages? I am doing the same but for my 350. Any possible issues?
