throttle linkage on edelbrock 1406
Ok so ive managed to get an adapter plate and hook everything up. Literally told to the EGR to go **** itself so please nobody tell me anything about gas mileage or emissions. But now im stuggling. Managed to hook two out of three cables on the linkage. The spring and the two top cables are connected but on the stock carb there was a third cable that went by the spring which kinda looks like my throttle. theres nothing to connect it to on this carb. Soo is it important?

Sounds like 1 of them possibly was for cruise controll.
We dont have it on ours but its a ? guess...?

Throttle & TV cables correctly installed?
You ** may ** need a geometry corrector for the carb linkage to TV cable

Ok i got everything good. Started up but is idling way at 2500. Yes the brakes are on the back of the carb and the idling screw is all the way off. Did i mess up a vacuum line? I dont understand
