Engine: 383 crate engine edel carb n headrs
Transmission: ex700R4/NOW T5
Axle/Gears: 3.08 std
kind of performance question
So I have a 383 with 1406 edel carb 3.09 rear end and T5 off a V6 here is the deal when im doing about 80-85 my rpms r about 2500 is that ok? Also any higher n my gas goes down really fast and feels harder to go faster than 90 any thoughts? Thanks

First off, punctuation is your friend!
Seeing that the speed limit is 70, I don't see that you have any issues. For track purposes, that motor, rear and trans and gear should realy come into it's own around 90-95 and easily run to 120+. Do a search for gear ratios vs speed on the page here or on google, should find what you're looking for but that RPM looks right without consulting a chart.
My 3.73 with 700R4 (.70 overdrive gear in trans) pushes 2600rpm at 70mph.
