Help! LG4 Q-jet to Thunder-AVS Swap

Hello Everyone,

I received an Thunder AVS carb (1806) a few years ago and have just started doing the install on it. We took the stock q-jet off of the lg4 engine off my 1986 Trans-Am, and went to go install the thunder avs and we think we've hit a few snags. One, the linkage system on the Thunder AVS doesn't look like it accommodates for the TV cable. What do we need to make all of the linkages fit in?

Another fear is that the gasket that came in the box is paper thin, do we need a spacer?

The Edelbrock Carb Linkage Adapters (8031) don't seem to fit our current cables (meaning that the cables sit way too far forward) is this a common problem?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

You will problem need a spreadbore to squarebore adaptor. Any the throttle bracket may need adjusting.
Or new one altogether depending what you want.
