will a 750 double pumper be too much???

have a camaro that is no longer a 2.8l like my name would suggest, but it is a factory roller 355 with gm fast burn heads rpm air gap intake and xr288hr. has a t56 from 95 camaro and 4.10 gears. i currently have a holley 770 street avenger with vac secondaries on the engine (bought it when i had a 700r4 with stock converter). I also have a holley 750 double pumper that was given to me that i have been thinking about freshening up for my car since it is manual now. what do you guys recommend? not too familiar with carbs but i know i am capable of building it right for my car, just haven't messed with one yet.

thanks

750 double pumper will work and it would be the carb I would use if it was my car.
