Well Here is a satisfying story to close out my carb quest for my Camaro. Yesterday while making a final run to the speed shop to pick up a few Holley parts with my daughter riding shot gun in my old 77 Buick we got annoyed by a giant muffler rice burner who seemed intent on racing big green, my daughter was laughing and asking why they wanna race us this car is to big and your to old.... well it was the old part that did it, I put half pedal down, rice burner hammered his and pulled ahead of my front fender I set the gas pedal on the floor and the secondaries of the old 800cfm Qjet opened up on the old buick 350 and the old boat hollered by that rice burner leaving the boys inside with big surprised looks on their faces as they choked down a big old cloud of carbon from the 350 as it cleared out the years of hardly ever seeing the back end of the carb opened up! my daughter was impressed she had never seen the old buick do that
We won our race got our carb parts and got the Camaro running all in that one day and then we took the Camaro for its first Drive since we have owned it ! all in all it was a good day ! posting a pic of the Camaro !
