Car was running hot then shut down now doesn't start at all. Change spark plugs new battery new thermostat. It sounds like it want to start but doesn't

 

To get some good advice, you may want to leave detailed information about the car and what exactly happened.

From that description I would guess it overheated, warped the head. However you said you replaced spark plugs and did not mention antifreeze in cylinders so that may not be the case.
