I just installed the edlebrock 1406 on my 79 gmc k2500. I had to get an aftermarket throttle cable bracket because the stock bracket doesn't fit on the 1406. Now I'm not sure where to hook the return springs. Any suggestions? Do I need to get another bracket for the springs?

 

The spring on my carb bracket goes from a little hole on the throttle itself to the bracket for the TV cable support on the intake manifold. You just need to have it set up so it pulls the throttle closed when you take your foot off the gas pedal.
