Re: CAR WONT START
Not a Camaro/Firebird, BUT....do to start any car you need fuel, air and spark. You're getting fuel and you're probably getting air, have you checked for spark at the plugs? When you rebuilt the distributor did you set the base timing by properly adjusting it to TDC?

Re: CAR WONT START
Car was running before the rewire and all the parts were replaced. Timing was checked and placed at TDC . Distributor never removed from car. I know there is electricity between the points because i was using a metal feeler gauge to set points and had left the ignition in the on position and got a spark when the gauge touched the side of the breaker plate. will HAVE TO PULL A PLUG AND GROUND IT TO SEE IF THERE IS SPARK AT THE PLUGS. Another possibility I saw on Velocity last night is the butterflies arent opening on the bottom of the carb. ??

An easier way is just to pick up a cheap in line spark tester, they're around $5 at Harbor Freight and helped get my car on the road it has a built in lamp that will flash brightly while cranking if you're getting a good healthy spark!
