1982 Trans Am stalling issues

Hello, I have a 1982 Trans Am (KITT) with a 305 carb (quadjet). I have been having issues with the car stalling. Initially it would gradually lose power and stall while going up steep hills. The weird thing is it would start up again if you waited 20 to 40 minutes.

Now the car will start up the first time, and as long you dont go up hills it wont stall. But if you turn it off it will not start up a second time (unless you wait 20 to 40 minutes).

Not sure if fuel pump issue or a carb issue. Strangely enough at the same time i started having stalling issues, the aftermarket security system started acting up. I am in the process of removing it now, but id say its 90% out and i am still having issues.

Any advice would be appreciated
