Blow Through Quadrajet

Anybody have any tips for building a blow through carb out of the stock Quadrajets? Obviously the nitrophyl floats, but are there any holes that need plugging or other parts that need replacing?

Re: Blow Through Quadrajet

While I have no direct experience I would think the power piston would need a vacuum source of some sort to work properly. Secondaries would need someway to mechanically open the airflaps. Cliff Ruggles will probably have more answers than most forums, may want to check there. Tbh, probably way more effective and easier to just get a Holley type carb that's already setup to be blowthru

Thank you, and I know a Holley or Edelbrock would be better but I'm trying to keep costs down by reusing the stock Quadrajet.
