Two wires on Q-Jet Carb

Could anyone tell me what the two wires (not the choke) are for on the carb?? There are two wires and they plug into a carb with a blue connector. One of my friends needs to know who is going to be doing a carb exchange and I cant rememebr exactly what they are for.

Other than the electric choke (and assuming we're talking about a computer controlled q-jet):

On the top front passenger side corner of the carb, there's a two-wire connector that goes to the mixture control solenoid (MCS). If memory serves, that connector is blue on the carb.

On the front driver's side corner there's a 3-wire connector, going to the throttle position sensor.

Hope that helps.

Yes, the MC solenoid connector is the only two-wire connector on the carb. Every one I've ever seen is blue.
