Engine: 350 with L-69 components
Transmission: 700R-4, 2000 RPM stall converter
Axle/Gears: 10-bolt/3.73 ..
Fuel Line Question...
Just asking out of curiosity; what is the purpose of the 1/4 inch return line on a carbureted thirdgen with mechanical fuel pump? I have a '73 F#rd with mechanical fuel pump and it has never had a return line...

As I recall, it is mostly a vapor lock prevention. Not saying I'm correct but that is the theory.
