Engine: 377 AFR195 750DP Solid cam 10.25:1
Transmission: TH/350 3200 stall spohn conversion
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42:1 Eaton Trutrac.
backfires through carb on cold start 750dp
brand new 377sbc afr setup etc, runs fine when warm but will backfire through the carb on a cold start when running., 750dp. if something was wrong in the ignition it would allways be there warm or cold.
she wont run cold and is a ***** of a thing to keep running but when warm its great. engine was setup on a dyno, carb was perfect. everything is like new.

seems to wet the plugs on start up.. and pulled the plugs 2 times were wet both times.
i think the car needs to be driven, been sitting in my garage waiting for an interior kit over 9 months. apparently its stuck in L.A California

carb will go to get rebushed today, clean the shafts and i will check and test all the leads AGAIN.

Its really hard to get 1982/1992 parts here in Australia and its like looking for Edsel parts at times. A few sell the knock off parts and i dont like a lot and the fact they charge premium prices for Chinese and Ill fitting parts.
Any other model is no problem at all.
The interior i bought was from Ecklers, Ricks Camaros because they allways gave fast freight and Hawks were really expensive on freight.
For large items i use an Aussie importer in Compton that has a big setup and its really a huge freight setup and been at it since 1975.
over the years i have never had 1 problem until 2021, its a nightmare and this strange man biden has in charge or transport is a joke, Buttergeige wow.
Any other model is no problem at all.

I just pulled the carby and the fuel stinks,, i have a flooding carb,, fuel gone bad,, (4 months old) it really stinks,, its lost its volatilaty,, fouling plugs,, causing fuel build up in cylinders ,, wet spark plugs, rick idle, stinkin exhaust smell,,
just took my carby to get a kit put through it,, at a holley shop. They will reco it , needle seats, gaskets, fuel pump diaphrams etc.
i will drain the tank and put 15 gallons of 98 in it and see how we go.
