i swap out my 350 engine for a small block 400 and my fuel pump want come on i check all relays and there know current going to the relay with the ignition on with the new motor the distrubutor is differenton my 350 distrubutor it has aplug with 4 wire plug in the back the new motor didnt have it and the carburetor has two plug going in it carburetor is a quadrajet with these plugs not connected would this stop the fuel pump from coming on oh this is a 1987 pontiac firebird i am working on if there any one that can help me with this problem right now i got the fuel pump hardwire to the ignition
