Question about fuel delivery...
I went from a TPI to a carb. I got a circle track mechanical fuel pump and a pressure regulator. This fuel pump is supposed to REALLY pull fuel.
I tried getting the gas tank down to remove the in tank pump, but was unsuccessful.
My question is, will the mechanical pump pull THROUGH the electric pump when the electric pump has it's fuse pulled and is not in us?
Anybody have related experience with this?

It seems to be hit and miss for some reason. It will pull through for some people, not for others. Either way you should really tak it out tho. Even if it pulls through it'll be a bad restriction.
Getting the tank down isn't that hard...whats the problem?

The problem is the rear control arm below the tank. The bolts are seized and I don't have any torches to heat them up to get them out.
