What can happen when you run W/O The Choke Thermostat?
I just filed off the Pop Rivets around the Choke Thermostat on the Carb (Rochester 4bbl) on my Z28. Only to find out that the thermostat that they gave me at the store was for a 6cyl 2bbl Carb, and that the self taping screws are way to big..... so, now the stores are closed and the choke thermostat is laying in my Passenger Seat and theres no way to get it back on. So, now that a cold front is coming in, and will be here 2morrow, what can I expect to happen?? I think the Choke Thermostat was broken anyways, thats why I was replacing it.

If the choke is stuck open, you might have hard starting and rough idling when it's cold. If it's stuck closed, it'll run excessively rich and you'll have abysmal mileage and your plugs will foul.
