Really simple question

I haven't gotten a carb yet I have a friend that is giving me a 750 double pumper and a 650 vac seciondary carbs. I was wondering if the double pumper has jets in the main and seciondary. I was told that the fuel for the seciondarys were controlled by a metering block. If that is true how do you adjust the fuel to the seciondarys?

Sorry I know nothing about carbs but I am really wanting to learn.

It is possible that the secondaries have a metering "plate", which has fixed size passages and can only be "adjusted" by replacing the plate. Most DP's, though, have a metering "block", which has removable jets that can be changed to tune the mixture.

Look between the main body and the float bowl - is the piece between them about the same thickness on the secondary side as the primary side? If so, it's a metering block, with replaceable jets.
