re-jetted leaner

The car was running rich with .113 primaries, .107 secondaries and .073x.052 rods.

Tonight I put in .110 primary and .104 secondary jets. Also changed rods to .065x.047. It didn't seem to make much difference other than the feel of accelerating being more consistent feeling, more solid but not faster. The unburned fuel smell is gone. The exhaust seems to be louder now too. What good does this do without going faster?

What would leaner jets and richer rods do? Or, is that what I did tonight? I just want the damn thing to take off faster without bog or pinging. I don't know what the jack $hit to do next.

:hail:IROC-Z anyway
