O2 sensor to tune Holley? Any kind?
I have a 780cfm holley 3310 with the choke horn removed. It runs great with the stock jetting/power valves (72 jet 10.5 pv front 76 jet 8.5 pv rear) but I don't like the idea of the power valve in the back and the tail pipe seems really sooty.
I've heard you can tune with a voltage meter and an O2 sensor. For what year vehicle should I get the sensor to fit. I was told by a salesman at the local parts store that there are several different part numbers that give different readings for different manufactures. Is this true?
Once I get the sensor what voltage readings I'm I going to be looking for, 12-13 to 1?
Thanks

Get a sensor for a stock late 80's fuel injected f body. You'll also need to get a bung welded onto your headers to screw it in to.
Then, you can use a voltmeter, but I stringly suggest you get a real A/F ratio gauge. They only run about $30 and come in very handy.

Well..the bung will make it easy then
Cyberdyne makes the gauge I have..you can get it though either summit or jegs. Has a bargraph readout, uses a stock O2 sensor..works great.
