Quadra-Jet manifold adapter?
I have a Performer RPM manifold and I need an adapter plate for a 4bl Q-Jet I pick up. Where can I find one? And how much? The manifold is spreadbore.

The QJet normally fits directly onto manifolds that are designed for "spreadbore" carbs.
If it doesn't fit then most any speed shop can get you a Holley-Qjet adapter plate.

94 Firebird Formula M6- No options but Z rated tires. No mods over $10. 13.5@105.
79 Malibu "beater" w/junkyard 400 SBC, tweaked QJet 4bbl, finally a decent set of heads, a few other tricks. A maddening 13.000001 @ 108 on the motor with little traction. No nitrous runs with the new heads yet.
Grandma's old 78 Malibu (33K miles!) soon to have the powertrain from the 79 put in it.

Yeah, man. If you got a Performer RPM QJet manifold, the Q-et shuld bolt right up with an OEM QJet gasket... If it is a Performer RPM sqarebore, aint gonna happen without an adapter. the QJet versions are more expensive over the squarebore versions, even more than the adapter price, so I'd swap/barter/sell the QJet version for a squarebore version.

The manifold must be a squarebore then because it definitely needs an adapter of some sort to squeeze down into the manifold. The Q-jet would not bolt directly on w/o some interference.
You'll have to check the Holley/Edelbrock/MrGasket etc catalogs to find the right spacer. I do not know th number off hand. Or go to local speed shop.
RPM manfold is pretty maor, man. Too major for your combo, IMO. It'll work, though, but low-end will suffer.
