Ok, so i just switched my 750 vac sec. to a 650 double pumper.(I was told that my carb was to big) Im not real good with carbs and vacuum/timing stuff at all. So anyways, I slapped the carb on, but i seem to have idling problems.I can set the idle on the carb to run at 800rpms and it will fluctaute (very minor) but when i put the car in gear, the rpm drops to like 200 rpm killing the car.If i set the rpm for 1150, and i put it in gear it puts me at about 450 rpm and just barely keeps running (Real rough) What seems to be the problem here, anyone? Damn i need to take a mechanics class to be running this beast. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need to set your air/fuel mixture. The little screws on the side of the metering blocks will adjust this. The best way to do it it with a vaccum gauge hooked to the carb, adjust the air/fuel screw until you get the best vaccum reading then move to the next air/fuel screw. If you don't have a vaccum gauge you can do it by ear and get it close by listening to the speed of the motor. After you get the air/fuel set readjust your idle.
