When I start the car in the morning, it seems like the choke dosent come on at all and starting is a real chore. After I start driving, the choke kicks in and the idle bumps up to about 1700 rpm. Once the car heats up some, the choke shuts off as it should. I checked the ignition hot lead and have tried playing with the fast idle and richness some but can't seem to locate the problem. Any of you guys have the same problem?

Before you start the car when it's cold, pop the hood, rotate the throttle arm open a little and give the fast idle cam a couple taps. If it snaps closed, the choke is sticking open. Mine did the same thing when it was new.
