My 86 lg4 iroc wont idle,it was running great until 3 days ago.This problem came up quick and its got me stumped.When I spray carb cleaner in running carb the idle picks up and smoothes out.The tach is jumping from 500-1200rpms,when I give it gas it takes it and goes,just wont idle.I have checked all vacum hoses and they r fine.No codes either. This problem started about the time I installed a open element a/c.I did have some problems with the air cleaner stud and may have got a shaving down in carb.I have a new carb on the way.just trying to rule out other problems.thanks
