What A/F ratio should we aim for at WOT??

I've got the 14.5/1 cruising range down, but what is the ratio to aim for at WOT? I've got a Edelbrock A/F guage and was just wondering if I can get a little more power by running fatter at WOT (have to swap in a secondary metering block w/ bigger jets if so I guess, since I have the un-adjustable metering plate...)

Opinions vary, but generally 13.5-12.5:1 is what ya wanna shoot for.

Alright, apparently I'm running slightly lean at WOT then (if I trust the guage 100%), about all I get is an indicated 13.5:1 at WOT at best, looks closer to 14:1 to me.

About the only way to richen up WOT mixture without screwing cruising mixture w/ a 3310 is to swap out the metering plate and put in a block so I can play w/ the jets right? I think I'll look into that shortly.

The engine is a Vortec headed 350 w/ a XE262 cam, Perf RPM intake, MSD pro-billet distrib, TES headers, good exhaust, etc in case any of that should factor in to the mixture I would want to run. I figure if anything I would want to run toward the richer side of the range at WOT for this engine. Any comments?

BTW, are all/most holley metering blocks interchangable? Specifically, will a secondary metering block from a 650 dblpumper work properly on my 3310? I have a 650 dbl pumper that I could pirate the block from instead of buying new stuff...

don't trust your gauge. Run as lean as you can before your trap speed starts dropping.
