Big Time Carb problems please help!

well my car sometimes has a tough time starting off at idle, it'll drop idle and go to about 300 rpms but it'll stay alive and then will start to idle right but then the other night i took off and i was in reverse backing out of a parking spot and my car died so i was like hmm... i started it back up (started up right away) then drove down the parking garage and gave it a little gas coming out on to the street and the rpms started bogging and no matter how much gas i gave it, it kept bogging lower and lower and finally stopped, so i rolled to the side of the road and started it up again, it lasted about 3 minutes of driving then broke down and everytime it started up it wouldn't stay alive more then 3 seconds, and finally it wouldn't start up anymore so i got a cab and went home, the next morning i came back and it started up and i drove it home fine, and i've noticed this problem before like when i punch it on the freeway or street and it would do the bogging at a certain rpm and wouldn't want to go faster then that rpm but it wouldn't die until lately, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fuel so i think it has something to do with the carb, its an LG4 engine and i recently put a K & N air filter and flowmaster muffler on it those are the only mods so far. Thanks for your help guys

Check your fuel pump!!! If you swapped carbs and the problem is still there i would take a good look at your fuel pump, check the pressure coming out of pump.My guess is it is bad.
