Getting rid of the Qjet

Okay, 327 right now. I figure 650 CFM sound good? What are the carbs that you would run. I am concerned about the electric choke and how all that stuff hooks up. Model numbers are great! Thanks in advance.

I'd recommend a Holley 6210, which is a spreadbore mech sec 650 CFM double-pumper. Electric choke kit is available. Linkage pieces also. It's about as close to a drop-in as anything I know of, all around one of my favorite carbs. I'm running its 800 CFM big brother 6211 on my 400 right now.

Yeah the "EDElCRAP" "1405" 600cfm will work.
But I think there junk no where near the power or economy of the holley "80457S" Its chrome too, well zink plated "chrome" if its the show aspect your looking at. only 19$ more for the holley and well worth it.

I agree the spreadbore mentioned above would be a good choice.
If you want to use an Edlebrock, you can usually find them cheap at swapmeets. A model #1406 would work well.

My dad has always run a holley and I plan on doing so. My friend had a 1506? around his house that he was not using that needs a once over. I was trying to figure out if it would work and if it is worth it. Thanks much for your help!
