...Overall I'm very happy with it. It seems to run better than my 750 Holley but it is a decent bit harder to get the idle mixture just right w/ the four corner idle instead of the standard two.

Also, I did run into one problem. For some reason the choke linkage was binding right out of the box. Turns out a little piece of plastic that is some sort of guide for the arm that moves the choke blade was bent/broken and was causing a bind. It was like that right out of the box. Had to take the choke off and remove that piece of plastic but it now functions just fine. Kinda sucks that something was wrong right out of the box though...

I've found I have to run smaller jets than on my Holley 750, I think the air velocity is pulling more fuel out of the venturies w/ the 625 Demon. It came w/ 70s (what I was running in the 750) and it seems to like the 68s instead. 78s on the secondary side (my 750 had a metering plate, no jets. The 750 definitely loses points for that). The secondaries seem to open up a little better perhaps, again I think because of greater air velocity through the carb.

I still have some tweaking to do w/ the TV cable (why I don't know, I didn't move it's settings or take it out of the old bracket) and I need to rig up a return spring I guess since I didn't have one before. I like the carb overall, so far I would buy one again.
