if u wanna take a jive at it (even though it is a scam), tell him he has to send the check first, and it has to cash first, and wait 2 weeks to make sure it doesnt bounce.

I really hate to say this, but take a look around most internet message boards.

yup just got the same scam. They send a fake Cashier's check for some crazy amount, and ask you to mail them the difference.

The key is the word "shipper", they all use it.

Anyone that mentions "shipping agent" should be closely scrutinized.

Goumba,, boy isn't that the truth.. When did they stop teaching spelling in school? Or is that not a requirement anymore?

Cristian Crema's name pops up a lot when it comes to email scams , you'd think after using that name so much , the 'tard would have enough brains to change it .

Wow, glad I checked this. He just emailed me about the TPI I'm selling.

I checked out the originating IP... he's in Nigeria. Nigeria is notorious for email scams.

Crispy Crema?

Isn't this the dope that emails people about buying things/cars by having his "partners" in the states send a check for some ungodly amount and asks you to keep the payment plus a little extra and send him the difference?

Yep, these folks are all over the web -- I have a good friend that dealt with them on a 2nd gen. The mail a fake cashier's check for well above the asking price, then ask you to mail the difference over your selling price back to them -- you get stuck with the bad check after a few days, when the bank calls you and says it's fake. They never actually pick up the car or parts or whatever you're selling -- they just want the cash you send them. I guess some folks are still falling for it -- BEWARE!
