Omni P, Think about using a past shot I contributed. I used my first camera for the shot you used, and didn't have even a proper viewfinder to get the whole car in the shot! I added some insight comments. I will be documenting before and after work, I hope can aid people visually, rather then get them bent out of shape at all. I feel these are unique examples you just don't get quality time to examine...at least I don't

Hi to all of you out there new here hope to hear from all of you soon. For my part I have a 87 GTA 350 5 speed org brought new in 86 direct from GM, from one of my dear friend that work at Test Track in Florida he took care of all the paper work. And in 91 bought a new firebird 92 305 5 speed from the same friend last firebird convertible made in the USA. Very happy with these two wonderful cars. Here are some pic of the 92 Firebird

I did some minor editing to get this one down, as a JPEG it was too large, not via a TGO member, but on the Firebird Gallery I pointed out a while back

So do u have any parts for a 83 z28 convertible???
i need the grills on the front and the plastic top on the door panels
i guess parts for an 83 z28 will work :P
Did some research and from what i have found CustomForm did 500 total conversions on Camaro's they were done for dealers only and then when the dealers sold them they were on the road with us anyone else seen any info to confirm this??? the years they did conversions were like 79-89 or something like that

Cadillac -
Cadillac,
Would you pretty please take a pic of your car from the rear down low showing those mudflaps. My Camaro is the same colors as yours Paint, Top Interior... I have a set of the same mudflaps except with Camaro on them and I have not put them on the car as I was not sure If I would like the look and did not want to drill a hole for nothing! Yours look fine in the pic you posted...
If you could do that I would be most grateful! You can post here or respond of site either way.
THANKS!
Speedy

Mine came secondhand from Japan, has had a repaint and lost the decals. I'm only just back on the road after having a engine fire (leaking fuel rail). Now playing with the eprom.

Thanks
Thanks for the link. I hope to NEVER have to replace my Catback but had I known about that one I would have been looking for a reasonably priced source for it when I was buying!

Wow -- I've been on this board for at least six months but tend to only go to the local forum for gathering info.
I bought this baby for $100 about two months ago -- this one and another '92 used to belong to the b/f, but then he sold it and wouldn't you know, it was returned via a poor tear down by a guy who 'just wanted to get it out of his yard.' Lucky me.
This pic is when I got her...
This pic is slight paint modification...
She's almost back together now -- new top, replaced wheel caps, new tail lights. Having lots of trouble finding parts from the doors back though -- need trunk shocks really bad. Will do other post on this forum to see if you vertible junkies know of any sources.
The b/f has this same car, but WS6 package in red w/black top. Right now it's my daily driver with 175k on it, when Liquid Gold is completed she'll be my daily driver -- she's got an LB9 w/140k on her, stock except for paint.
Glad to find this forum, it's confirmation for how rare these birds really are.

950 base Firebirds in '91. If you consider that perhaps half were V6, I might be in that range too.

Cadillac asked Sorry this took so long to reply..been away.
My dash and console is burley walnut layered composite, panels are held with Torx screws. I have wondered if this was a factory option?, certainly looks original. The glovebox production code included the B18 ornamental deluxe interior which may be the wood grain finsh. This car was ordered in Japan from a local GM dealer, code 1AY.
I have not seen any others but then we do not see many ThirdGens in Oz.
I'm looking at the console. Is that woodgrain there or what? Looks great!

hey all, it's been a while since I have been on the board. I have been working on my Monte SS with and LS1 swap. Here is my 1984 Z28 Autoform Corp convertible. She now has 28,500 miles now and she is still nearly perfect. Here is the link to see her.

My bird is dead! Cylinders 5 & 6 are shot, so looks like I don't even have her on the road yet and will have to put her away for winter. Don't know what to do about engine replacement -- has LB9 and I'd planned on making the convertible my (don't hurt me here guys) my DAILY DRIVER as it would have been better on gas than my other vehicles.
Now that I know I have to replace the engine my options are a bit more open -- I don't know if I really wanted them to be. I wanted to keep this car stock as the purple shadow is my pimped/modified ride. What a dilemma...
