Deck lid adjustments

Is the deck lid adjudtable side to side? My lid need to come over a bit and I can't seem to get it right with the bolts that attach the lid to the hinge. Are the hinges adjustable where they bolt to the body?

Does anyone know? Every vert I have seen has the deck lid off one way or another, surely some one has adressed this problem.

I don't know the answer to your question right off... I know when I had my car painted that the trunk lid was removed and rust damage was repaired. there was a problem with alignment of the deck prior to the painting and the shop adjusted it out. How that was done I don't know and haven't looked but the next time I get a chance I will try to figure it out and let you know...

I'm surprised that no one else has responded to this as I am sure it's been an issue for somebody else at some time...

Without seeing pics or looking at the lid mounting arms, it will be difficult to diagnose. If everything is bolted down tight, just loosen one side and use a metal shim. Then tighten it back down. I know it sounds like a ******* solution, but it will move the lid over to center.
