battery relocation
With the added weight on our cars and the different trunks from the coupes, I was wondering about the benefits of a battery relocation kit as far as handling and the particulars of venting the battery. thanks

I installed the SLP dual cold air on my 89 RS convt so the battery had to be moved. I put it on the driver side because at the time, the wife was driving the car and did not want to be without a spare tire. I bought the Moroso sealed battery box and bolted it in place and vented the box as required by NHRA etc. I sent the vent tube out the body plug in the lower quarter. It was pretty much a pain in the butt to get done. I hid my battery cut off switch behind the license plate. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd do it again.

Nothing I could feel. Suspension is pretty tight so maybe if
I dropped the front swaybar you would feel the added weight.
