Firebird/Camaro spoiler

Does anyone have a rear view pic of a 91-92 firebird spoiler? I've been toying with the idea of buying one from Hawks to put on my Iroc. I'm thinking of going with the whole "bat wing" set from them. Was just wondering if the spoiler was different or the same as the camaro. Thanks. :hail:

I believe the spoiler would hang over the edges of the fenders. The Firebird has a slightly bigger butt than the Camaro. Probably hang off about an inch on each side.

I've seen a 91-92 Z28 spoiler on a bird before and it looked pretty good, but was set in an inch on each side (since the Camaro rear is smaller)..

The F cars big difference is really the sheet metal skins. In all likely hood, you'd have to do some fiberglass mods, if it even works.
Just own a Bird and Camaro...show your loyalty! hehe

BTW, any ideas on aftermarket rear flanks and trunk for the ASC cars, I'm still wondering about costs/availability. My spoiler/air foil is still in pretty good shape, but has the open ends now... who the hell knows. It's cold and damp here more and more brrrrr

Yes, that helps alot! I guess I'll have to check into weather it'll fit or not. Now all I have to do is fix the top, winshield, etc...etc. BTW, I DO have both a Firebird and Iroc, but the 'bird is a 1969 so it woundn't fit in around here. LOL!! Thanks for the help folks.

hehe, I think the 'weather' slip was amusing too
Here's my current rear flank. I have to do things bit by bit so I have to live with the rust a bit longer as I tackle all my previous debt on a new for '05 budget.
I've carried credit card debt for a couple years my dad's paying off so now I have to repay...anyway, those clean preserved cars make my eyes water. Mine degraded alot in 4 years, so be careful out there. I don't entirely blame weather, but mostly I do

I'm anxious to see more pics of this type spoiler. Is it different from the stock convertible spoiler? Also, will these fit on t-top/hardtop 'Birds??

The ASC convertible spoiler and leading edge trim looks like it's completely seperate judging from appearance but of course the rear is modified for the conversion. I'm of the mind a non vert rear panels lower qtrs match to the spoiler section with creative welding in the repair stage. I'm going to find some means of fixing the rust in the last pic, among other spots...like swapping out the doors for good clean ones. I actually had the front fender off eBay but never went through as the shipping figured too highly. The guy dropped off the map... At some point I'd like to conclude that deal and save me a bit of hassle...although, it's still not a WHITE replacement.
