Autotrim 2 seat convertible conversion

A friend of mine has a really nice all original 1984 Z-28 convertible 2-seater. It is an Autotrim conversion from Elkhart, Indiana. I have seen a lot of conversions, but never a 2-seater. Is anyone familiar with this conversion? Is there any way to find production numbers? Does anyone know of replacement parts? After a thorough search of the internet, and phone book, the company seems to be out of business. There is an autotrim in Elkhart, but they work only on Dodge Vipers and will not even talk about Chevys. I've attached a photo if that helps. Thanks in advance.

The name of the company was Auto Form Corp. Not Autotrim. Yes they did aftermarket convertible conversions beginning in 1984. You'll turn up more on a google search with the correct name.

One story I found from a google search on "Auto Form Corp, Elkhart IN"

Very funny!! You get nick names like that after you turn a big block with factory rods 8500 RPM and your 3 year old niece is around to see the mess under the car. After that, it kinda stuck.

Yes, I know that it isn't only possible, but true. However, most of them have the good sense and sensibility to use the name "Michael".

In other words, there isn't one any more.
