89 Spoiler end fillers

Here's a specific question, but may be useful for other years.
The ends became loose for the decklid section of my spoiler. I kept them indoors and luckily never lost them in transit!
Anyway, I will get pics of them for reference but the main thing being, I have no idea how they became loose or how to put them back in, or if I need to address something prior. The decklid spoiler needs paint at some point though I have more pressing issues and the lid itself was a rear-end hit victim, below the spoiler...itself intact

Somewhere there was a thread on different spoilers, particular to Camaros I'm pretty sure, yet, I'd thought that subject has been brought up more then once. I didn't have a pic, or forgot to include one, even for the example here. I noticed a couple old ones were still too big.
I'm still interested how to remount these of course, and if infact my 'third eye' taillight was removed, for what reason? It still leaves me scratching my head

I am not aware of the makeup, but in a prior picture on this page, I show the wing section w/o the end cap, the vertical angled slats seem to mate, along with the edge I assume
