has anyone put the 91-92 gfx on an older vert??
i kno the gfx mount differently on verts, but i have a set from a 92 rs.
seems like they are too "thick" in the rear by the air scoops. looks like they hit the factory box stiffening.
i bought a drivers side gfx from someone on here. waiting to get it to see how different it is.

can someone help me out???

The vert GFX are the same as the others. ASC cut the inner side out where it rolls under the car. You can use the other one coming to make a template of how much to cut.

Why didnt you just ask me? That is pretty much what I did. Since I wasnt able to find a pair of GFX from a vert, I bought a pair from a coupe & trimed them so that they were like my stock ones. There is a good amount of triming you have to do. You have to notch around the factory box stiffeners & you have to cut about 1/4-1/2" off the bottom all the way down the gfx. I used a roto zip. It tore through the plastic pretty good but I wish I went slower... The cuts arent straight at all. But since that part of the gfx is on the bottom of the car anyway... It doesnt bother me too much.

Oh by the way... I got your payment yesterday. I will be shipping out the GFX tomorrow.

 

i kno ill have to do some trimming. i was wondering if the 91-92 vert gfx were any different, to see how they were shaped to modify the ones from the coupe i got.
