Interior Trim Part Needed
Okay -- this piece is difficult to describe and I don't know the name of it. But, if after I TRY TO
describe it anyone 1) knows what this is called and/or 2) who can help me find two of them would be my hero. And this part is only on convertibles.
Imagination needed here --
Looking at the driver's side door
1. open the door
2. look to the most upper right where the door meets the car (jamb area)
3. there should be a black plastic piece (~4" wide x 6" long with an open area where the driver's shoulder belt comes through) that finishes off where the body of the car and the door jamb meet.
That black piece that the shoulder belt comes through is what I'm missing on both sides of my car. I have one, but it's broken and the numbers (if any were printed on it) are on the portion that is broken off/missing.
Can anyone out there help me with this -- either by telling me what that piece is called or by giving a little direction on where to get replacements?
The only other piece I think I'm missing at this point is the plastic piece that goes under the driver's side to cover up all the wiring, fuse box, etc. I don't know if this part is different on verts than on other cars -- I can't imagine why it would be, but it's been a difficult find for me.
Thanks a bundle for your anticipated help!

Is this what you are talking about?
Convertible seat belt upper trim
I have heard from a few folks that these don't fit quite as clean as the originals, as they are made from fiberglass and the originals are molded plastic, but I would imagine that they are much more durable at the same time.

Yes, I do believe that is it! You're a godsend! Thanks, it's not a bad price either. But since I just ordered the trunk shocks, I think I'll wait a week or so before ordering.
You guys amaze me! Thanks a bundle Drop Top Iroc!

Try these two places for various parts and needs:
http://www.perrypam.com/index.htm
http://houseofcamaro.com/index.html
They have lots of stuff including the under dash stuff. They are both fast shippers and Thomas at "House of Camaro" (tomattrc@aol.com) is very helpful and reasonably priced.
