This is my first post,,,,can someone please tell me how this rare car is and approx. value,,,,,, Here it goes,,, 1990 1le iroc camaro convertible black with gray interior,,,,it has the l98 350. the car has 130,000 miles with the original l-98 being rebuilt at 88,000 miles. It is a numbers matching car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Matt

 

Is this a car you saw somewhere???? If all the information is correct there are a couple items that raise some question. First, there were no factory 350 convertables produced. Any cars that might be out there would have to be a dealer or owner modified car. Second, 1LE's weren't produced as convertables.

it is on auto trader website. i called about it and the guy said it had the 1le option with the 350 option and bigger front brakes??? he said it stated 1-le on the underside of the hood??(i believe)

 

Get the VIN. It will tell you if the engine was originally a 350 or not.

VIN:

E in 8th digit = L03 TBI 305

F in 8th digit = LB9 TPI 305

8 in 8th digit = L98 TPI 350

L98 means not an original vert. L03 or LB9 means engine swap. 1LE means I think this guy might be trying to (maybe unintentionally) shart you.
