looks good i used to be into models pretty hardcore. put a black wash on the door lines and and anywhere else that could use it like between the bumpers louvers etc. it will make them look a little more realistic

What's up with the red inner fender, and what appears to be red portions of the turn signal area and gril area? Reminds me of a real life color change.

That red you see is the color of the plastic before it was painted. It took me a minute to actually find it because it can't really be seen on the actual model. The model has a gap and the red showing in the fenderwell is the outside of the interior shell, which you really can't see unless you hold it at a weird angle. The little red showing on the grill is where the paint did not fill in all the cracks during spraying. If you put too much metallic paint (plain gloss is easier) on, it runs bad, so I do it in light coats...........good catch. As I said in an earlier post, they (almost) never come out perfect. One glitch (bad) that you did not mention is the windsheild surround on the vert. The 1st thing I did when making the vert was cut off the roof and t-tops. While doing that (the very 1st time I touched it) the skinny plastic broke in 2 places when I was cutting off the t-top. Talk about pissed!! So, anyway I had to try and put the 2 pieces back together and make the windsheild surround. It came out ok, except upon close inspection (these closeups). It is either that or trash half the models you do. (I have trashed a few) Anyway, my models are usually viewed on my display shelf and are 5 footers...............haha

(Answer to Purplehaze)That is an excellent idea that I have never tried. A long time ago I had tried painting in those little doorlines, etc. but of course could never get right. Thanks!!
