new top care
What is the best way to take care of a new cloth top? I have to park it outside and it gets all of it. Bird crap, tree sap, little white fluff things form oak trees and a stupid cat laying on it and leaving fur everywhere(that one really ticks me off). So what's the best thing to take care of these things. I have no garage or car port and a car cover is to much of a pain for a daily. So let me know! Thanks. Adam :-)

Re: new top care
LOL. I have a car port at least, same as you its a daily driver and those damn cats sure look comfortable on that top.
I was going through all the car care products at advance auto and found some sprays that help clean, and protect the top. There are some sprays that "coat' the top for easier cleaning.
I'll see if I have any links, but auto stores do have protection stuff. I think its better with it than without it.

Re: new top care
With a new cloth top, I would just use a soft brush & liquid hand soap. The other stuff will just remove the water repellant from it. After water dose not bead anymore then use a product called Ragtop. My other car is 2006 converible.
